NFL 2022: Predicting the starting QB for all 32 teams pre-NFL Free Agency
Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray
What is going on with the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray?
Murray has deleted all traces of the Arizona Cardinals off of his social media, which usually isn’t a great sign of health in any relationship.
If Murray is truly upset with the Cardinals and demands a trade, the Cardinals are frankly under no obligation to give in to his request.
My theory is that Murray is in the beginning stages of warning the Cardinals that he wants a long-term deal sooner rather than later and if he doesn’t get it, he’ll put up a fuss.
It may not be the best way to go about things, but it’s certainly one way to do it.
Murray and the Cardinals are legitimate Super Bowl contenders when they are firing on all cylinders. General manager Steve Keim has been very aggressive in recent years trying to find all of the right pieces and get the right people in place to have this franchise be competitive in the very tough NFC West.
So far, the Cardinals have certainly been competitive, but they’re falling short in the playoffs still.
The 2021 offseason won’t exactly be peaceful for Cardinals fans as the drama with Murray unfolds, but ultimately, I think he will end up under center for Kliff Kingsbury and company in 2022.
