Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa

After all that has gone down recently with the Miami Dolphins and Brian Flores, you can’t help but think everything is pointing to this team wanting to prioritize Tua Tagovailoa as the immediate future at QB.

The Dolphins have been accused of taking the “Tank for Tua” movement a few steps too far, but if they truly did go to such great lengths to acquire Tagovailoa, it makes sense that they moved on from Brian Flores in an attempt to get the most out of him.

Although Flores had the Dolphins winning games, they weren’t able to solidify any sort of situation offensively at coordinator or at quarterback.

Bringing in Mike McDaniel from the San Francisco 49ers, at least on paper, accomplishes just that.

McDaniel has already been featured in Dolphins online content speaking over the phone with Tagovailoa and it appears as though the team is really prioritizing him.

There were rumors about a potential Deshaun Watson trade, but that doesn’t seem likely to be happening at all now, especially given the fact that the Dolphins are now facing a lawsuit from Flores.

With McDaniel on board, expect to see the Dolphins stick with Tagovailoa and spend their available cap space on the offensive line and on players that can support their young QB.
