2022 NFL Free Agency WRs 21-25

21. AJ Green, Arizona Cardinals

This segment of the list is going to include mostly guys that are older, so they will be reserved for ring chasing teams most likely.

AJ Green had a solid year for the Cardinals this past year, averaging almost 16 yards per reception in the Cardinals’ pass-happy offense. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him return to Arizona for another year.

22. Emmanuel Sanders, Buffalo Bills

There have been some rumors that Emmanuel Sanders could retire. The former Denver Bronco lost one of his dearest friends — Demaryius Thomas — this past year and that undoubtedly has weighed heavily on him.

He was a very solid contributor for Buffalo this past season with almost 15 yards per reception and four receiving touchdowns.

23. DeSean Jackson, Las Vegas Raiders

Although he’s a one-trick pony, DeSean Jackson’s primary skill — speed — is still highly effective against NFL defensive backs.

He averaged over 20 yards per reception this past season for the Raiders and Rams and had a pair of touchdowns.

24. T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts

Over the last three years, Hilton has missed 16 games and obviously, health is a major concern at this point in his career.

If he is able to stay healthy, he’s still effective, but his better days are likely behind him. Look for Hilton to sign a short-term deal with a contender.

25. James Washington, Pittsburgh Steelers

Some team is undoubtedly going to want to take a shot on Washington’s vertical abilities this offseason and see if a higher volume of targets can result in a great risk-reward dart throw in free agency.

Washington had 11 touchdowns in four seasons for the Steelers but wasn’t able to become a consistent threat for their offensive attack. There were trade rumors regarding Washington last offseason but now he will almost undoubtedly test the market at the age of 25 and get a shot to shine elsewhere.
