Bengals 2022 mock draft round 3

Finally, we get the double-dip on the line, as the Bengals grab Andrew Stueber to bolster the right side of their line. He lined up there at Michigan and his physical style of blocking would be a welcome addition to this line. With so many questions along the Bengals line, adding a player like Stueber could lead to him starting even though he is a mid-round pick.

Stueber excels when allowed to use his power and aggressiveness to block. At this point, those traits make him a better run blocker than a pass blocker, but he has plenty of time to develop into a capable blocker from both respects. Some question if he will move to guard due to a short stint there at Michigan, but his size and length make him a better tackle prospect.

For the Bengals, Stueber can come in from day one and be penciled in to compete at right tackle. Assuming he earns the starting role, he would need some assistance early against top pass rushers, but assuming he develops into an average option there he should pan out. The Bengals have to get aggressive with their line, as that was the prime reason they lost the Super Bowl this past season.
