Three 2022 NFL Draft prospects that will likely already go in the first round can climb the ranks even further with a strong performance at the NFL Combine.

These three NFL Prospects are already projected to go in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

A strong performance at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis will not only solidify their first-round status but they can rise to the top of their position group rankings. And to put all of this in perspective, the difference in pay between the 2021 10th pick and the 15th pick overall was approximately $5 million dollars.

Think about it.

2022 NFL Draft Combine riser: Cincinnati CB Ahmad Gardner

Ahmad Gardner is considered by many to be the top cornerback in the draft, however, he has been overshadowed in the same breath when LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. is brought into the mix.

Gardner stands at an impressive 6’3: weighing in at 200 pounds with excellent ball skills, demonstrating explosiveness while making plays all over the field. Additionally, Gardner has a growing reputation for not allowing a single touchdown in his college career.

Gardner’s speed and not being the smoothest corner in the draft have been brought up as far as concerns.

If Gardner can produce an above-average 40-yard dash, display more fluid motions during his positional drills, and bring that together with his above-average agility, he could possibly be the first cornerback off the board.
