NFL Power Rankings 2022 – Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) runs for a touchdown during their 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Wild Card game at Nissan Stadium in Nashville Jan. 10, 2021. /

10. Baltimore Ravens

For anyone wanting to discount the Baltimore Ravens after an 8-9 campaign, they should be prepared to be disappointed. Baltimore finished 8-9 on the season but they could have easily been 10-7 had they converted on two last-second two-point conversions. Those were bold moves by coach Jim Harbaugh that backfired but he believed in his team.

They were also able to come close to a winning record with Tyler Huntley starting four games under center for an injured Lamar Jackson — who actually missed five games total. When Jackson did start, they were 7-5 and that was without their top running backs who were all lost to injury.

So, the Ravens getting healthy this season should be all it takes to get them right back into top-10 consideration.

9. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert is the real deal. In his second season as the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers, he threw for 5,014 yards with 38 touchdowns — with his three rushing, he accounted for 41 total on the year. There is room to improve, however, as he did have 15 picks.

Improving the running game should help him and they could stand to get better at stopping the run. Should they get that figured out, this could be a dangerous team.
