2022 NFL Power Rankings: Los Angeles Rams start out on top

8. Dallas Cowboys
One of the hottest teams throughout the regular season in 2021 was the Dallas Cowboys, thanks in large part to their surging defense. Trevon Diggs became a star as he had 11 picks on the season and Micah Parsons racked up 13 sacks en route to the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
Oddly enough, it was their offense that let them down. Far too often, their offensive line drew flags that killed promising drives and they continued to lean far too heavily on an injured Ezekiel Elliott when Tony Pollard was playing at a higher level.
It’s hard to see much of that changing but even if it doesn’t, this should be a 10-plus win team in the regular season.
7. Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans continue to be a tough team to figure out. When it looks like they’re going to fall apart — like when Derrick Henry was injured — they start to pile up wins. But then when you start expecting things — like in the playoffs — they lay an egg.
Overall, this is a good roster with talented players all over both sides of the ball. They do, however, need to prioritize bringing Harold Landry back, and adding a solid pass-catching tight end would help as well.
