20. Denver Broncos
It seems as though every year, the Denver Broncos are one of those teams that has all the pieces — except the quarterback. This again was the case in 2021 as they were a competitive team overall but finished 7-10.
However, things could change in 2022. Not only could they get all their star players healthy again but they seem to be the No. 1 landing spot for Aaron Rodgers, should he move on from the Green Bay Packers.
Adding him would instantly put the Broncos into the top-5 but for now, they still sit in the bottom half of the rankings because of their lack of a solid starter.
19. Indianapolis Colts
Once again, we’re going to talk about the quarterback. The Indianapolis Colts took a gamble on Carson Wentz this past season and while his numbers were good overall, they apparently aren’t thrilled with the results. Of course, losing to the Jacksonville Jaguars with a playoff berth on the line has a way of souring things.
Now, they’re reportedly trying to move on from Wentz but the worst part is, they still have to give up their first-round pick in this upcoming draft to the Philadelphia Eagles for acquiring him.
There are other concerns there too on offense, especially at wide receiver, but they remain a decent team that could go up or down depending on how a few offseason moves play out.
