There was some good news recently for New Orleans Saints fans in regards to their best wideout. In their annual salary cap shifting, they reworked Thomas’ contract which will keep him in town despite speculation that he could be moved.

Even with Thomas on the roster, there are several questions to answer. They’re replacing Sean Payton one year after replacing Drew Brees — and they still have to figure out if they want to bring back their replacement for Brees as Jameis Winston is a pending free agent.

New Orleans will at least have some continuity in their staff after they promoted from within. Dennis Allen taking over keeps the coaching staff in-tact and if they do keep Winston, they could be in solid shape.

Whether or not the Miami Dolphins should have fired Brian Flores, the truth is — they made a god hire in Mike McDaniel. He’s an energetic coach with a sharp offensive mind which is exactly what they need to try and get Tua Tagovailoa to take his next step as a pro.

They do have winning seasons in back-to-back years so McDaniel made a good move taking over this roster. The question, however, is if they can finally get into the playoffs.
