2022 NFL Free Agency predictions for the NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: TY Hilton, WR (Colts)

TY Hilton has been a lifer with the Indianapolis Colts, but it might be best for both parties to say goodbye in the 2022 offseason.

Hilton has not had over 1,000 yards receiving since the 2018 season and he’s missed quite a few games in recent years, but he’s a veteran player who could come on the cheap and still help your offense.

That might be exactly what the Buccaneers need in 2022.

Unfortunately, Tampa Bay won’t likely have Tom Brady in 2022 barring a change of heart for the recently retired GOAT.

With no Tom Brady, very little wiggle room on the salary cap, and a who’s who of pending free agents, dark days could be ahead for the Buccaneers.

Hilton has history with Bucs head coach Bruce Arians, so while this may not be the free agent move that really moves the needle for Buccaneers fans, it could be the kind of move this team makes out of necessity.
