Cincinnati Bengals: Terron Armstead, OT (Saints)

We all saw the Super Bowl. We all saw Joe Burrow on the ground and writhing in pain.

The Cincinnati Bengals are not even through with their rebuilding process and they already have a Super Bowl appearance in the Joe Burrow era.

Still, in his first two seasons, Burrow has been beaten and battered and already suffered a major knee injury.

That’s a problem the Bengals must address in 2022 without question.

In 2021 it was acceptable for them to go for a playmaker like Ja’Marr Chase instead of offensive tackle Penei Sewell because their rebuilding process had only just begun.

In 2022, the conversation is different. The Bengals have proof that their roster core is good enough to get to the Super Bowl. They have a ton of cap space and they are clear contenders in the loaded AFC.

The time is now to go out and spend money on the offensive line, and I think they absolutely will.

Terron Armstead might wind up being the best overall free agent that hits the market if players like Davante Adams and JC Jackson get tagged. The Bengals are a very logical destination for him even if that means Jonah Williams swallowing his pride and changing positions.
