Cleveland Browns: De’Vondre Campbell, LB (Packers)

De’Vondre Campbell ended up being one of the best bargain signings in the entire 2021 offseason by any team.

There were a lot of NFL fans dogging Campbell for the way he played in Arizona and Atlanta, but he became an All-Pro in Green Bay this past season with 146 total tackles, 6 TFL, 6 QB hits, two sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and five passes broken up.

He was all over the field for the Packers and Brian Gutekunst would probably love to bring him back, but right now, he has bigger fish to fry.

If the Packers let Campbell get to free agency, I think he’d be one of the quickest players off the board and I think a team like the Cleveland Browns could make a lot of sense.

Two of the Browns’ leading tacklers from a season ago — Anthony Walker and Malcolm Smith — are headed for free agency.

Campbell would give Cleveland another athletic option at the linebacker position to pair up with Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, one of the star rookies from the 2021 NFL Draft class.
