2022 NFL Free Agency predictions for the NFC North

Chicago Bears: Morgan Moses, RT (Jets)

The Chicago Bears and new general manager Ryan Poles understand that the offensive line must be emphasized in the 2022 offseason.

Poles, a former offensive lineman himself, was just part of reshaping the offensive line with the Kansas City Chiefs and they looked under every stone to do it.

They brought Kyle Long out of retirement, they found multiple starters in the draft, they signed free agents, they traded for Orlando Brown Jr.

They did whatever it takes.

The offensive line rebuild for the Chicago Bears could require very similar TLC.

Chicago might have a building block in Teven Jenkins, but at this point, it’s hard to know that for sure. Interior lineman James Daniels is slated to hit free agency, so there will need to be a complete overhaul of this unit.

The tackle position is not currently deep on the free agent market, but we’ll see how much that changes once there are cap casualties added into the mix.

For the time being, Morgan Moses is one of the top players set to hit free agency in 2022 at the tackle position with his best ability being availability. This dude simply does not miss games.

He could pencil in as a starter for the Bears immediately at right tackle.
