NFL Free Agency wide receiver #2: Mike Williams

Mike Williams, do not leave. Take the franchise tag or a deal and stay in beautiful Los Angeles and live life.

Williams is set to be a free agent, but should just discuss with the Los Angeles Chargers about being a Charger for life. Justin Herbert is the quarterback and will be for the next 10 plus years.

There is no better situation for Mike Williams to produce big numbers and win football games than with the Chargers. Williams just came off the best season of his five-year career.

Herbert and the offense came together as a whole in 2021. Williams finally saw over 100 targets and turned that into 76 receptions, 1146 yards, nine touchdowns, and a WR1 finish in 2021.

With Justin Herbert, the Chargers produced two WR1s in the same season. That happened in 2020 as well with the Vikings and the Seahawks star wideouts.

Williams saw the 8th most red-zone targets in 2021 and will continue to blossom into a fantasy star if he stays with Herbert and the Chargers.
