Could the Jacksonville Jaguars try to swing some trades in the 2022 offseason with the Denver Broncos? Here are some players they might be after.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new sheriff in town with head coach Doug Pederson replacing Urban Meyer, who was an abject disaster of a head coach in the NFL.

Pederson represents a substantial upgrade over Meyer and it feels like the Jaguars sort of lucked into hiring a Super Bowl-winning head coach after their Meyer experiment.

Pederson took a year off after spending some very successful years with the Philadelphia Eagles where he and Howie Roseman were consistently aggressive in pursuing upgrades for the roster. Whether they did it in the Draft, through free agency, or through trades, Pederson and Roseman were always in the thick of the action.

Although Pederson is not the GM in Jacksonville, I fully expect that aggressiveness to transfer over.

The Jaguars will almost undoubtedly be aggressive in seeking upgrades for their roster and I think we’ll see Pederson flex his recruiting skills quite a bit in free agency. I also think we’ll see the Jaguars get aggressive in pursuing players via trade, which would be considered a complete flip of the script from last year when they were basically just giving talented players away.

One team that might have a few players of interest to the Jaguars? The Denver Broncos.

Some of the Broncos’ positions of depth and strength match the positions of weakness for the Jaguars, and everyone knows how much George Paton loves to add to his draft pick war chest.

Let’s take a look at some targets on the Denver Broncos roster the Jaguars could have interest in, potentially.
