Amari Cooper: 3 landing spots if released by Dallas Cowboys

Amari Cooper landing spot No. 1: Kansas City Chiefs
In 2021, the Kansas City Chiefs found themselves jumping out to an uncharacteristically slow start. There were questions early on about whether or not the offense lost their touch and if Patrick Mahomes might actually be human.
However, he eventually went back to being a no-look pass-throwing cyborg as the Chiefs dominated down the stretch. They even scored in 13 seconds to force overtime against the Bills in the Divisional Round and ended up back in the AFC Championship Game.
Their offense then went stagnant again in the second half of that contest as they lost to the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, they’re going back to the drawing board to try and improve things in 2022, and adding Amari Cooper could be exactly what they need.
As it stands now, the Chiefs have $10.5 million in cap space but they’ve already started to move on from some veterans to clear up room — they can even get $19.5 million by making Frank Clark a post-June 1 cut. There are also some contracts, including Mahomes, they can restructure to afford Cooper.
Should this happen, the Chiefs would be an absolute force on offense. The Los Angeles Rams went all-in last year for a title and Kansas City could do the same by pursuing Cooper.
