Dallas Cowboys Round 2 Pick: Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State

Dan Quinn is back as the defensive coordinator in Dallas and it seems as though he’s willing to stay for a while. If so, the Cowboys should feel comfortable taking highly athletic players who can be utilized by someone with Quinn’s creativity.

Enter Arnold Ebiketie from Penn State. Following three seasons at Temple, he headed to the Nittany Lions in 2021 and racked up 62 tackles and 9.5 sacks. According to Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network, he has “enticing speed and twitch,” making him an ideal fit on the edge in what Quinn calls his “designated pass rusher” role.

Dallas Cowboys Round 3 Pick: Ed Ingram, IOL, LSU

Connor Williams is likely gone in free agency. He’s been the player fans have been frustrated with due to his untimely penalties but overall, he’s not a bad player — which means he will get a bigger contract than the Cowboys want to pay.

They could trot out Connor McGovern at left guard but they would be wise to also add some depth and competition. That’s why Ed Ingram from LSU is the pick here.

A redshirt senior, Ingram can play both left and right guard and also has experience at tackle. Dallas will love his versatility as well as his ability to pull in the running game.
