Denver Broncos: Three bold predictions for free agency

2. Trade for Ryan Ramczyk

Now that they acquired a “good enough” quarterback, they will turn to their offensive line to give Jimmy Garoppolo time to throw.

Look no further than Saints’ stud right tackle Ryan Ramczyk.  The All-Pro was taken in the same draft class as fellow lineman and current Broncos’ left tackle Garett Bolles.

Ramczyk is currently playing on a nearly $100 million contract and just might be the best right tackle in the NFL.

Being that the Saints are still obnoxiously over the cap, they may have to part with some veterans to get back under, and when you consider their overall situation, there is little reason to believe they will be competing at a high level this season, so a full rebuild might be necessary.

Now that Sean Payton and Drew Brees are both gone, New Orleans needs to establish a new identity under new head coach Dennis Allen.

They could get a head start on that by trading Ramczyk and acquiring draft picks to reload their roster with talent.

Ramczyk is set to enter his age-28 season and might not factor into their long-term plans with his huge contract.

Teams would be wise to call about his availability, and with Denver not having a long-term solution at right tackle, acquiring the 6’6″ tackle makes sense.
