4. Connor Williams, OL, should sign with the Miami Dolphins

Connor Williams is a young swing tackle who should have his sights set on getting paid. With so many teams looking for offensive line help, he’ll go under the radar with big-name players like Orlando Brown (franchised), Terron Armstead, and Brandon Scherff headlining the class. However, Williams is a value pick that could get paid top dollar. He and his agent must know that.

One team who’ll be willing to pay top dollar to fix their offensive line is Chris Grier and the Miami Dolphins. They’ll likely miss out on the top guys given the AFC Champs Cincinnati Bengals have the second-most cap space in the league and are desperate to protect Joe Burrow. So, a player like Connor Williams, who can play both tackle and guard, makes sense for the Fins.

For Williams, he can get paid and have a chance to prove why he’s one of the better young offensive linemen in the league. It’s a perfect match for a player looking to prove his former team made the wrong decision by benching him.

A zone blocking scheme in a run-first offense maximizes what Williams does best. He’d instantly make the Fins better, especially when asked to move to the second level and pull.
