NFL Free Agency – Jacksonville Jaguars offensive guard Andrew Norwell (68) battles with New York Jets linebacker Blake Cashman (53) to create running room for Jacksonville Jaguars running back Ryquell Armstead (23) during second quarter action. 56. Andrew Norwell, LG: Jacksonville Jaguars ➡️ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to lose a bunch of players to big-money deals, they’re not just going to sit back and do nothing. With Alex Cappa potentially leaving in free agency and Ali Marpet retiring, something will need to be done on the interior offensive line.

Andrew Norwell wouldn’t have to move far to join the Buccaneers and I think this is a union that makes some sense.

The Bucs are going to have to make some moves up front to keep Tom Brady interested in potentially returning for another season.

55. Alexander Johnson, LB: Denver Broncos ➡️ Los Angeles Chargers

Coaching connections in free agency are always important to look for.

Brandon Staley and Alexander Johnson go way back.

Staley was a linebackers coach at Tennessee back when Johnson played there, and he was also on the Denver Broncos’ coaching staff when Johnson was playing some of the best ball of his career.

Johnson would immediately upgrade a porous Chargers run defense and could give them additional value on third down as a pass rusher.
