46. Ben Jones, C: Tennessee Titans ➡️ Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins under new head coach Mike McDaniel will be shifting to a zone-heavy offensive scheme, and one of the key lessons learned from his time with Kyle Shanahan is that you need a center that can be the “QB” of the offensive line in that kind of offense.

It just so happens there are a handful of free agents available in the 2022 offseason and arguably one of the best zone scheme centers is Titans free agent Ben Jones.

The Titans would probably love to re-sign Jones but money talks.

Miami has a need and this is an obvious scheme fit.

45. Steven Nelson, CB: Philadelphia Eagles ➡️ Philadelphia Eagles

There are a variety of outcomes with Steven Nelson that make sense. The former Pittsburgh Steeler had a nice bounce-back year with the Eagles in 2021 and a return to either the Eagles or Steelers could make a lot of sense for him in 2022.

I think we’ll ultimately see him make a choice between those two teams and while the Steelers may be a bit more desperate, the Eagles have got to value a guy that put together an impressive season paired up with Darius Slay.

How much do the Eagles value Nelson? Well, they wanted to keep him healthy for the last week of the season, so he was a healthy scratch from the game. That would have otherwise cost him a bonus of $375,000, which they paid to him the day before the game to make up for missing an incentive written into his deal.
