96. Jamison Crowder, WR: New York Jets ➡️ San Francisco 49ers

The more I went through this list of free agents, the more players I wanted to put on the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers have been to two NFC Championship games in the last three seasons, and Kyle Shanahan has had some tough finishes in the last six or seven years between his time in San Francisco and Atlanta.

I think we’re going to see the 49ers do whatever it takes to get over the top in 2022 and adding a steady slot receiver option could really be a missing piece for a 49ers offense that certainly doesn’t lack balance.

95. Mitchell Trubisky, QB: Buffalo Bills ➡️ Washington Commanders

I took some creative liberties here as the folks at Pro Football Focus had Arizona Cardinals tight end Maxx Williams in this slot.

With all due respect to Maxx Williams, he’s not anywhere near one of the top 100 free agents in the NFL right now, maybe not in the top 200.

Okay, that’s probably too far.

Instead, I am using this as an opportunity to call a shot on Mitchell Trubisky. The Washington Commanders are desperate for QB help and they may not be able to lure any of the pipe dream options to DC. If that’s the case, it sounds like a lot of NFL teams are high on Trubisky as a reclamation project, so in a way, he might be the prize of this year’s free agent QB class.
