40. James Daniels, OL: Chicago Bears ➡️ New York Jets

It seems odd that the offensive line needy Chicago Bears would let James Daniels hit free agency, but here we are.

Daniels is going to be one of the younger interior linemen on the market and an absolutely perfect fit for any team running a zone scheme.

He had some great success early on in his career but his play — like many in the Chicago Bears’ offense the last couple of years — has slightly declined.

The New York Jets will undoubtedly be active in free agency — as always — and Daniels could slide into any interior spot for them right away.

39. Jerry Hughes, EDGE: Buffalo Bills ➡️ New York Giants

Jerry Hughes has been a steady veteran player for the Buffalo Bills for what feels like forever at this point.

The former first-round pick is set to hit the free agent market and he may not be an every-down player at this stage, but he should still be able to provide some pass rush production for a defense.

New general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll will know Hughes well from their time in Buffalo together.
