36. Darious Williams, CB: Los Angeles Rams ➡️ Los Angeles Chargers

In terms of his overall production, it’s probably fair to say that Darious Williams was better in 2019 and 2020 than he was in 2021.

Still, he’s been a solid starter for the Rams and he’s very familiar with Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley.

Although he has inside-outside versatility, I think there’s a chance we see him stick with a full-time role on the outside if he moves from the Rams to the Chargers.

Remember, we also projected the Chargers to sign Bryce Callahan in this piece, so that frees up Williams to be the no. 2 corner with young Asante Samuel Jr. taking the CB1 role.

35. Rob Gronkowski, TE: Tampa Bay Buccaneers ➡️ Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans had trade talks with the New England Patriots back in 2018, Jon Robinson’s third year on the job as Titans GM at the time.

Robinson spent a lot of time with the New England Patriots in the front office before landing his job with the Titans, working there until 2013. Gronkowski was drafted in 2010 so obviously, there’s plenty of history here to consider.

The Titans clearly have a need at the tight end position after losing Jonnu Smith to the Patriots last offseason and not exactly replacing him properly.

It is going to take some convincing to get Rob Gronkowski to continue his playing career without Tom Brady. Perhaps a guy who was part of drafting him (Robinson) and another former Patriot (coach of the year Mike Vrabel) can convince him.
