24. Melvin Ingram, EDGE: Kansas City Chiefs ➡️ Kansas City Chiefs

After the kind of success he had last season in Kansas City, it makes a lot of sense for the Chiefs to try and bring back Melvin Ingram on another ring-chasing deal.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a very odd deal with the Chiefs last season, basically just giving them Ingram for a thank you note, and Ingram made a huge difference in Kansas City’s defense.

It might not be a premier signing, but the Chiefs don’t have a ton of wiggle room anyway especially with Orlando Brown Jr. in need of a contract extension after officially getting franchise tagged.

23. Akiem Hicks, DL: Chicago Bears ➡️ Minnesota Vikings

There are some other landing spots that could make sense for Akiem Hicks including the Los Angeles Chargers, who have made no shortage of appearances on this list.

For the sake of not giving every free agent to the Chargers, I’m saying Akiem Hicks will join his old pal Ed Donatell with the Minnesota Vikings.

Donatell was part of the Chicago Bears’ coaching staff during some of Hicks’ best years. While this move would sting for Bears fans who want to see Hicks retained, it would make a ton of sense for the Vikings, who need substantial improvement on the defensive side of the ball to get back to contention in 2022.
