16. Carlton Davis, CB: Tampa Bay Buccaneers ➡️ New England Patriots

One way or another, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to have to find a way to keep some of their guys around.

The biggest question for this team right now — who is the franchise tag going to be used on?

Chris Godwin was tagged last year, and is coming off of a major knee injury, but he might be the key to getting Tom Brady back if that’s the ultimate goal.

The New England Patriots could pounce and make another massive free agent pickup, letting JC Jackson leave and replacing him with Carlton Davis.

There is still a chance the Bucs could retain both Davis and Godwin, but if Davis hits the open market, expect him to be coveted by a lot of teams.

15. Stephon Gilmore, CB: Carolina Panthers ➡️ San Francisco 49ers

Stephone Gilmore is a former Defensive MVP and is still playing at a high level despite only playing 19 games the past two years.

He should be in line for another really strong contract and you don’t need to look much further than teams without first-round picks to make surprise splash signings.

The 49ers are currently over the cap but that could change in a hurry if they get a Jimmy Garoppolo trade sorted out and move some other money around.
