2. Terron Armstead, OT: New Orleans Saints ➡️ Chicago Bears

And Bears fans rejoice.

General manager Ryan Poles is a former offensive lineman himself, coming from the Kansas City Chiefs where they just had an epic overhaul of the offensive line protecting Patrick Mahomes after a terrible performance in the Super Bowl last year.

Poles knows that for Justin Fields to have any sustained success, the offensive line needs to be addressed.

Thanks to their cap situation, the Saints may have to let Pro Bowl tackle Terron Armstead walk. At the age of 30, the Bears could land one of the premier tackles in the game. This would round out a tremendous first free agency for a rookie GM.

1. Davante Adams, WR: Green Bay Packers ➡️ Green Bay Packers

There’s no doubt about the fact that things — as of the time of this writing — are up in the air with the Green Bay Packers.

Ultimately, letting Davante Adams hit free agency would be the shock of the 2022 offseason, so I’m going to be willing to look bad on this one if anything besides Adams returning to the Packers happens.

In the event that Aaron Rodgers decides to leave Green Bay, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Packers tag-and-trade Adams as well, but they would undoubtedly tag him in a worst-case scenario.

There’s no way Green Bay can let Adams hit the open market and not get anything in return for arguably the best receiver in the NFL.
