Now that Aaron Rodgers is back in Green Bay, who should the Denver Broncos turn to to fix their quarterback situation for 2022 and beyond?

Well, it appears that Aaron Rodgers won’t be going to the Denver Broncos, after about 1 full year o speculation.

The Denver Broncos now have to turn to other solutions to fix their quarterback position.  There might be some veterans available for trade, but none are on the level of Aaron Rodgers and his greatness.

I am someone who thinks the Broncos should not be drafting and developing a quarterback because they have a roster ready to win now.

However, I do see an option where they trade for a competent veteran and draft someone to develop as the backup quarterback.

For 2022, though, I anticipate the Denver Broncos are going to still make an impact trade/signing and bring in a quarterback to help them compete for 2022, and maybe beyond.

Three Non-Rodgers QB options for Denver Broncos in 2022

Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts

If you just look at his statistics, you’d think that Carson Wentz was a Pro Bowl quarterback and led the Colts to the playoffs.

The unfortunate truth is that Wentz was not nearly as good as his stats indicate, and it seems like his best days are behind him, even though he isn’t even 30 years old yet.

The Colts went 9-8 and missed the playoffs with a very talented roster and above-average coaching.

The Colts seem very non-committal on Wentz, so I would think that a team could have him for the right price, perhaps a 3rd rounder?

Wentz is still very talented and would be going to a slightly better situation in Denver with a more talented offense at his disposal.

Being that the NFL does seem to have a shortage of quality starters, Wentz should have no issue finding another starting job in 2022 if the Colts move off of him.
