OT Orlando Brown Jr. — Kansas City Chiefs

Baby Zeus did have some struggles when he initially came over from Baltimore, but what more do the Chiefs need to see from him?

Overall, Brown’s debut in KC was very positive, finishing with a PFF grade of 75.2. Not only did he earn his third consecutive Pro Bowl nod, but he also started 19 of 20 KC games this season (including the playoffs).

This is also a year after he finished with a 76.5 PFF grade while playing left tackle in 11 games for the Ravens in 2020.

Maybe this move is to free up space for a team roughly $8 million under the cap, maybe it’s to get another look at Brown at LT this season. Who knows. But at the end of the day, KC has one of the best pass protectors in the league locking down the blindside for former league and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes for the 2022 season.

The thing is, though, the Chiefs can’t play this game with him forever. If he has another Pro Bowl-level season, yesterday’s price may not be the same for Brown.
