Chicago Bears WR target no. 3: D.J. Chark, Jacksonville Jaguars

Another receiver who adds speed to the offense is D.J. Chark. He runs a 4.34-40, which is enhanced by his 6-foot-4 height. A receiver who can outrun the coverage and is tall? Yes, thank you very much.

The Bears went through the picking up an injured Jacksonville Jaguars receiver and having success route so perhaps they try it again with Chark. He suffered a broken ankle in 2021 and only played in four games. He only caught 7 passes, but two of them went for touchdowns. Additionally, he averaged 22 yards per catch. He also has a 1,000-yard receiving season.

Chark is another receiver who can go deep and extend the defense. In his career, he averages 14 yards per reception. He’s done a good job of improving his route-running so he doesn’t have to depend solely on that speed.

Furthermore, he can use his length to leap up and make the grab over defenders. He is able to contort his body to make the catch no matter where it is thrown. Similar to Alshon Jeffery, Fields can put the ball up for Chark and he’ll be the only one who can get it.

The market for Chark might not be as big as it would be before his injury. If he shows he is healthy, however, whichever team gets him will get a big bargain.
