As the Minnesota Vikings look forward to the future, wide receiver Adam Thielen could find himself playing for a new team. Which team should trade for him?

There’s a rumor that the Minnesota Vikings could clean house. It’s not all that surprising, given they hired a new general manager, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, and head coach in former Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell. Change is inevitable when a new regime comes to town. According to some NFL reports, one change could see the Vikings trading Adam Thielen.

In 2017 and 2018, Theilen made a name for himself as the Vikings to target. He was so good they traded Stephon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills. The 31-year-old may not be a true No.1 wide receiver, but he’s capable of taking an offense to the next level. Despite him playing in 13 games this past season — he still found the end zone 10-times.

The draft may have depth—we all know it’s a crapshoot. Allen Robinson headlines the free-agent market, but picks are slim. Other notable free agents are Mike Williams, Antonio Brown, Will Fuller, and Juju Smith-Schuster — to name a few. If teams want to add a vet, they may need to follow in the Browns’ footsteps who traded a fifth- and a sixth-round pick for Amari Cooper.

We’ve seen what wideouts can do for a quarterback. So, any team looking to help their quarterback look better should aim for the touchdown grabbing, Adam Thielen.

Adam Thielen trade destination no. 1: New York Giants

Is Daniel Jones the quarterback of the future? Ask 10 Giants fans, and you’ll get mixed answers. He’s on a one-year leash, but the G-men should do all they can for him to find success in a wide-open division. Adding Adam Thielen will help them make that decision.

General manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll understand the importance of having a wideout who can make plays.

They were in the building when Brandon Beane traded for Stefon Diggs. The move helped Josh Allen’s growth and earned the quarterback a six-year contract extension worth $258 million. More importantly, the Bills found themselves atop the division and a play away from making it to the AFC Championship.

Adam Thielen paired with Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, and Kadarius Toney gives the Giants a great wide receiver room. The Giants don’t have a lot of cap space, but they have a lot of draft capital. No, they shouldn’t part ways with either of their first-round picks, but they should unload a couple of Day 3 picks to get Thielen on their roster.
