Robinson joins the Raiders in free agency

Contract projection: 3-years, $54 million

While the Raiders have become arguable the best-worst team in a division in the NFL, they aren’t content to just roll over and get beaten by the now extremely competitive AFC West. They appear to be set to keep Derek Carr and will look to build a more potent offense and defense to keep them competitive in such a high-power division.

One of the areas that the Raiders have been lacking in for a while is at receiver, as the team has been relying on the likes of Zay Jones and Bryan Edwards on the outside at receiver. Hunter Renfrow is fine in the slot, but this team is lacking a potent top option. Having a dynamic tight end like Darren Waller helps ease that burden but finding a capable top receiver would be a wise move this offseason.

Allen Robinson would be a fine choice for the Raiders, as his skill set would do well with a quarterback like Carr throwing him the ball. Robinson can help attack the deep portion of the field while Renfrow and Waller continue to attack the middle. Adding Robinson gives the Raiders a truly elite receiver and one that will help them keep the pace in the AFC West.
