27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cameron Thomas, EDGE, San Diego State

Once again, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are contenders in the NFC. Just weeks after announcing his retirement, Tom Brady decided he wasn’t ready to hang up his cleats and he will return for a third season in Tampa.

They also got Chris Godwin back on a contract extension, meaning their offense is intact still. On defense, they need to continue to bring in younger talent, and here, they do that with Cameron Thomas. He can pair with 2021 first-round pick Joe Tryon as the edge rushers of the future.

Thomas also has enough versatility to slide inside on third-down plays and rush from a defensive tackle position.

28. Green Bay Packers: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Earlier in this mock, the Green Bay Packers finally got a wide receiver for Aaron Rodgers as they took Treylon Burks from Arkansas with one of the picks they got from Las Vegas in the Davante Adams trade. Now, they’re back on the clock with their own selection and decide to add a playmaker to the defensive side of the ball.

Devin Lloyd is the pick as they bring in a linebacker capable of making plays from one sideline to the other. Green Bay has tried to fill this spot with veterans recently, giving Christian Kirksey and Jaylon Smith a shot but in the end, it might be best to go for youth.
