41. Seattle Seahawks: Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State
Our first running back comes off the board as the Seattle Seahawks bring in Breece Hall. This is a team that loves their running backs and they could be looking for a new feature in the run game — something Hall is capable of being.
42. Indianapolis Colts (via Washington Commanders): Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida
Kaiir Elam has a father and uncle who played in the NFL and now it’s his turn. He joins the Colts here, giving them some much-needed depth in the secondary.
43. Atlanta Falcons: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
Daniel Faalele is a huge man at 6-foot-8 and 384-pounds. There will be questions on whether or not he’s too big to deal with leverage issues trying to block opposing edge rushers but he’s got enough talent for someone to roll the dice.
44. Cleveland Browns: John Metchie, WR, Alabama
After trading away three Round 1 picks for Deshaun Watson, the Cleveland Browns will need to make sure they hit on their Round 2 selections. History is on their side as current GM Andrew Berry has landed Grant Delpit and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in his first two seasons. Now, he adds John Metchie who is a perfect complement to Amari Cooper — and suddenly this offense looks dangerous.
45. Baltimore Ravens: Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota
Some have Boye Mafe as a first-round defensive end and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see that happen. The Ravens land him in this mock and he could be a perfect fit in their scheme.
46. Minnesota Vikings: Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State
Harrison Smith gets a teammate who could eventually take his job as the new staff adds Jaquan Brisker from Penn State.
47. Indianapolis Colts: Carson Strong, QB, Nevada
The Colts need to keep looking for quarterbacks after giving up on Carson Wentz and they bring in Carson Strong from Nevada to compete.
48. Los Angeles Chargers: Kenneth Walker III, RB, Michigan State
Austin Ekeler is a great fit in the Chargers’ offense but they could use another back to help share some of the tough yardage. Enter Kenneth Walker III from Michigan State who could help this offense become even more balanced.
