No. 4 Best option to replace Davante Adams: David Bell, Purdue

If they trade or sign a veteran, the Green Bay Packers may take a wideout on Day 2 of the NFL Draft. If they do, a player like David Bell will fit what the Packers need from a wideout.

Bell is a volume target who’ll come in as a rookie and catch 60 or more passes. The Purdue wideout is a poor man’s Davante Adams with a similar build (6-1 212-pounds) and skillset — that’s why he’s No. 4.

He’s great against press coverage, thanks to his array of release techniques. While he’s not a burner, he wins at the top of routes with hard breaks and snaps. The Purdue wideout is dangerous after the catch.

Like Adams, he’s a powerful runner who gets YAC yards. He has high football IQ and understands where to sit in soft zone.  Bell is a polished wideout who can come in and make plays with Aaron Rodgers. He’s a Day 2 prospect who’ll work his way into the starting lineup quickly.
