The Jacksonville Jaguars might have gotten a higher grade for their 2022 offseason moves so far but the amount of money they spent in free agency is absolutely insane.

Despite the fact that as a bad team they kind of have to spend an obscene amount of money, it’s hard to ding the Jaguars too much with the hire of Doug Pederson as the team’s new head coach.

The Jaguars are doing everything they can to upgrade the talent around Trevor Lawrence, and they still have the number one overall pick to use on more talent for this roster.

Given the fact that they brought back Cam Robinson on the franchise tag again, it seems like the likeliest outcome for the Jaguars with the first pick is going to be Aidan Hutchinson out of Michigan, but time will tell.

The additions this team has made have been solid, it’s the price point that drives the grade down. With $155 million in guaranteed money being spread around between these free agents the Jaguars have added, results better quickly follow.
