Los Angeles Rams: B-

Key Moves

  • Signed WR Allen Robinson
  • Re-signed OT Joe Noteboom
  • Re-signed C Brian Allen

The Los Angeles Rams are Super Bowl Champions.

That came at a cost, however.

They knew when they traded for Von Miller that he might leave in free agency, and now he has.

Miller has bolted Los Angeles for the Buffalo Bills where he will have a chance to win a third championship.

The Rams also lost Andrew Whitworth, who retired, but they were able to retain Joe Noteboom before some other team blew him away with an offer in free agency.

That move was key as Noteboom will likely step in as the Rams’ starting left tackle. Speaking of the offensive line, the decision to re-sign Brian Allen at center was a must. There will be some much-needed continuity for this Rams team offensively in 2022 which cannot be overstated.

The Rams traded away Robert Woods to free up some salary, and the big move they made to upgrade the offense was adding Allen Robinson.

Robinson finally joins a great quarterback in a great offense, and that will be a lot of fun to watch even if it means no more Woods and no more Odell Beckham Jr. in Los Angeles.

The loss of Von Miller hurts big-time, though. The Rams really needed to find a way to bring him back and they simply couldn’t close the deal.

Now, onto the next potential trade candidate or shocking free agent signing.

For the time being, the loss of Miller brings the Rams’ offseason grade down pretty substantially.
