31. Cincinnati Bengals: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

This offseason has been really kind to the Cincinnati Bengals. This team was one of the biggest surprises as they rode the incredible success that Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase had to the Super Bowl — and almost pulled it off. In fact, they may have done so with a better offensive line, which everyone thought they would address here.

However, they don’t have to now as they signed a new guard in Alex Cappa, center in Ted Karras, and tackle in La’el Collins. This revamped line could suddenly be very formidable which allows them to go after Andrew Booth at pick 31.

Putting Booth on the same field as Chidobe Awuzie and Eli Apple also makes the secondary a strength for Cincy as they continue to build up their talented and young roster.

32. Detroit Lions (via Los Angeles Rams): Travis Jones, DT, Uconn

The Detroit Lions had the No. 2 pick which they used on defensive end Aidan Hutchinson and now at No. 32, they decide to add Travis Jones from Connecticut, giving them another solid player on their defensive line.

Jones is another guy who is starting to get recognition from draft pundits but there’s no way those who have been scouting him all season didn’t already have a day one grade on him.

Detroit could also look for a wideout or a quarterback but they do own an early pick in Round 2 should they want to go in either of those directions.
