15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins): George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue

One of several teams to have multiple picks in this 2022 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles will actually begin the process with three of them – and barring any trades, it begins with No. 15 and 16. With the first of those, they decide to bulk up on the end of their defensive line, bringing in George Karlaftis from Purdue.

Karlaftis is listed at 6-foot-4 and 266-pounds and is widely considered the top power rusher in this class. The Eagles did elect to bring Derek Barnett back but could still use some more youth on their line, which makes Karlaftis an excellent choice.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Drake London, WR, USC

Philadelphia ended up looking pretty smart in the Carson Wentz trade as they wound up with the No. 16 overall pick from the Indianapolis Colts, who already gave up on Wentz and sent him to the Washington Commanders. The Eagles use this pick to add another stud at receiver as they look to maximize the talent of Jalen Hurts, who is entering his second full season as the starter.

Drake London is their choice as they bring in a former basketball player who offers up great size and leaping ability. On top of that, London has shown he can beat the coverage deep and even put up 1,000-yards in just eight games before being hurt in 2021.

Pairing him with Devonta Smith gives the Eagles the best receiving corps they have had since the days of Andy Reid.
