NFL Mock draft picks 19 and 20

19. Philadelphia Eagles: Zion Johnson, OL, Boston College

The Eagles round out their three first-round picks in this mock draft by landing a top interior lineman. Had this been pre-combine, Zion Johnson would have comfortably found himself as the third interior lineman, but strong testing and questions arising from other players launched him to the next level. Now, he finds himself as the first interior lineman off the board.

Johnson can play any of the three interior spots on the line. In year one he would likely be slotted in at guard, but he has flashed some center ability. With Jason Kelce getting older, Johnson could be their long-term replacement for Kelce. Adding a lineman here makes sense, and with the Eagles addressing their top needs earlier, it makes taking Johnson a realistic option.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss

The Steelers are up next, and they have made their desire to get a quarterback clear so far this offseason. They miss out on the top two prospects and will likely have to move up if they want either. This leaves them picking from the best of the rest. In this case, that likely comes down to Matt Corral, Desmond Ridder, and Sam Howell.

Corral gets the nod here as the Steelers were all over him at the Ole Miss pro day. He weighed in better than most expected him to at the combine on top of this. There are a lot of flaws in his game, specifically with the offense he ran while at Ole Miss, but he should have time to develop. He needs a lot of work, but he has time to achieve his best-case scenario as a player waiting a year with Pittsburgh.
