There’s been a lot of movement when it comes to the NFL wide receiver position. The Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers have some work to do.

It’s been quite the NFL offseason in terms of offensive players. Quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Deshaun Watson have new teams. So do wide receivers Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill. All five of these standouts moved to other clubs via trades.

But even before the Kansas City Chiefs sent Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five selections over the next two drafts, the Chiefs added a pair of wideouts via free agency. Former Steelers’ Pro Bowler Juju Smith-Schuster was added via a one-year contract. Kansas City also signed former first-round draft pick Corey Coleman, but he has not caught a pass in the league since 2018.

Recently, the Chiefs also inked former Green Bay Packers’ wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling. And Andy Reid and general manager have a dozen draft choices this year. Kansas City is one of three teams that saw major changes when it comes to the wide receiver depth chart.

So who is still available for both the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers? There are still some notable names still on the open market (via Spotrac) in terms of veterans. And the upcoming NFL draft is reportedly deep at the wide receiver spot (SI.com’s Kevin Hanson lists his top 25 prospects).

It would be easy to see Green Bay’s Brian Gutekunst and Pittsburgh’s Kevin Colbert rely more on the latter. But it’s been somewhat of a chaotic free-agent and trading period where some top-notch performers have switched clubs.
