NFL Free agency can make or break a franchise for years to come. Which newly signed free agents will make the most impact on their new teams?
This NFL offseason has been the best one in a very long time. Top wide receivers such as Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill were traded. Tom Brady came out of retirement and Russell Wilson found himself traded to the Denver Broncos.
With that being said, here are three players who found new teams during free agency that will make the most impact in the 2022 season.
NFL Free Agency: Allen Robinson goes Hollywood
Allen Robinson has not had a good quarterback his entire NFL career. From Blake Bortles, Mitchell Trubisky, and Nick Foles, Robinson still has produced WR1 numbers throughout his career.
This past season, he mentally checked out of Chicago. Not including his 2017 season which he missed due to injury, Robinson posted career lows across the board.
Robinson finished as WR81. All this means is that this upcoming season is a bounce-back year for Robinson. The Los Angeles Rams handed Robinson a three-year deal worth $46.5 million.
Robert Woods was traded to the Tennessee Titans and Odell Beckham Jr is still a free agent and recovering from a torn ACL suffered during the Super Bowl.
Now, Allen Robinson will get to play with Matthew Stafford. The best quarterback Robinson will have played during his entire football career so far.
Matthew Stafford had Cooper Krupp and Robert Woods both as WR1s before Woods went down with a season-ending injury. Allen Robinson will now step into the Robert Woods role and produce at high levels.
The Rams have one of if not the most high-powered offense in the NFL. With Robinson coming off the worst year of his career, he will look to bounce back in a big way.
Allen Robinson is a steal at his current ADP and is going in the ninth round and later in start-up drafts. It is not a big risk with the type of talent Robinson is and managers worldwide can be rewarded with a WR1 in the late rounds of drafts.
