Jimmy Garoppolo is still a member of the San Francisco 49ers and has stayed quiet despite all the rumors, but he should be demanding a trade to one of these 3 teams

You have to give Jimmy Garoppolo credit. The man has taken the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl and NFC Championship Game twice in his career and yet, they still are ready to move on from him and go with Trey Lance who they took third overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.

It’s understandable why the 49ers are moving on but Garoppolo has stayed completely quiet — which is a stark contrast from how Baker Mayfield has handled things with the Cleveland Browns who went after Deshaun Watson.

Having said that, it might be time for Garoppolo to use his voice to put himself in a better situation. Here, we look at three teams where he could find some personal success — which is why he should be demanding a trade to one of these franchises.

Jimmy Garoppolo trade destination No. 3: New York Giants

Brian Daboll is now in charge with the New York Giants and while he says Daniel Jones is going to be given every opportunity to start, he also brought in Tyrod Taylor who will surely be challenging Jones.

While there can be an argument made for both Jones and Taylor in this debate, one thing that feels certain is that Jimmy G is a better option than both.

Garoppolo has an impressive 33-14 career record and has completed 67.7 percent of his passes for 11,852 yards. He also boasts a 71-to-38 touchdown to interception ratio. Those are numbers we have never seen from either option in New York, so Garoppolo should be doing all he can to head east and take a starting job with the G-Men.
