Biggest NFL contracts at the specialist positions

Total Money: Younghoe Koo, K, Atlanta Falcons (five years, $24.25 million)

The Atlanta Falcons ponied up the cash in the 2022 offseason for kicker Younghoe Koo, who now has the biggest total money of any NFL contract at the specialist positions.

Coming in at just shy of the top average annual value of $5 million per season, Koo’s contract is reflective of his unbelievable 92.6 percent accuracy on field goals over the past three seasons, including an almost-perfect 13-of-14 from 50 yards and beyond.

Although the Atlanta Falcons are far from a juggernaut, Koo is one of their top scoring weapons, no question.

Average annual value: Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens ($5M per year)

Highest guarantee: Justin Tucker, K, Baltimore Ravens ($12.5 million)

Speaking of scoring weapons, there may not be a better kicker in NFL history than Justin Tucker, who is paid to reflect his borderline GOAT status.

The five-time All-Pro is coming off of a career-best season in which he was like a locked in hitter at the plate in baseball. He made 35-of-37 field goal attempts, including a 66-yard bomb to set an NFL record.

It’s no wonder he is the highest-paid NFL specialist in the league annually with the biggest guarantee of any player at his position group.
