The Philadelphia Eagles could be poised to take another first-round wide receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft. What kind of value could they get for Jalen Reagor?

What are the odds the Philadelphia Eagles will make it three straight years of picking a wide receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft? It feels like there’s a decent chance it could happen.

The Eagles are stockpiling selections for next year, swinging a big trade with the New Orleans Saints which actually leaves general manager Howie Roseman with two first-round picks now as opposed to the three he had a little more than a week ago.

Roseman still has plenty to work with in this Draft as far as picks go, but he could still add to his overall war chest with a Jalen Reagor trade.

A first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Reagor has not lived up to his draft status at this point and frankly, he looks more like a bust than anyone would care to admit.

With that being said, Reagor is a tremendous talent with plenty of upside still, he just might need a change of scenery. The Eagles won’t likely be blown away by a trade offer but they could probably get something decent in return for the former TCU star. What offers would they not be able to turn down?

Jalen Reagor trade option no. 1: Atlanta Falcons

Philadelphia Eagles receive:

  • 114th overall pick
  • 2023 4th-round pick

Atlanta Falcons receive:

  • WR Jalen Reagor
  • 2023 6th-round pick

Although this seems like very modest value for Reagor, he’s simply not giving the Eagles any value on the field right now and this is a pure dart throw by the Atlanta Falcons, whose group of wide receivers without the recently suspended Calvin Ridley is easily the most embarrassing in the NFL.

With a clear path to playing time in Atlanta, this could be a decent situation for Reagor although the Falcons’ quarterback situation right now is a major question mark as well.

Getting a pair of fourth-round picks in exchange for Reagor and a future late-round pick could be a great haul for Howie Roseman if he plans on taking another receiver early on in the 2022 NFL Draft anyway.
