Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. 21. Ohio State. Chris Olave. player. 47

21. New England Patriots: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

One of the biggest surprises in 2021 was how well Mac Jones did as the starter for the New England Patriots. He wasn’t a world-beater but he did what was asked of him and looked to be a legit game manager — which is definitely not an insult even though some act as it is.

Going forward, they now need to surround him with more playmakers who can take the offense to the next level. They do just that with the selection of Chris Olave from Ohio State.

A burner who isn’t that far off from Garrett Wilson or Jameson Williams, Olave is a steal at 21 and should help their receiving corps round out with him joining Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.

player. Pick Analysis. C. Tyler Linderbaum. 22. Scouting Report. Iowa. 49

22. Green Bay Packers (via Las Vegas Raiders): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

The Green Bay Packers continue to be a team that makes a ton of noise in the regular season but then in the playoffs, they’ve been unable to get over the hump. Those who don’t care for them love to say they choke but the truth is, it’s incredibly hard to win it all.

In an effort to try and get at least one more title in Aaron Rodgers’ final seasons, Green Bay bolsters the offensive line with the selection of Tyler Linderbaum from Iowa. He will not only help with his own ability as a blocker but his IQ and line calls will help the Packers’ offense run smoothly — especially when the games get tougher.
