2022 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 65-80

65. Jacksonville Jaguars: Alontae Taylor, CB, Tennessee

Round 3 kicks off with the Jags again, who add Alontae Taylor from Tennessee, giving them more depth in the secondary.

66. Detroit Lions:  Brian Robinson, Jr., RB, Alabama

D’Andre Swift has been solid but might not get a second deal due to injury concerns. That’s why Detroit adds Brian Robinson to keep the cupboard full.

67. New York Giants: Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia

Georgia has yet another defender make it to the pros as the Giants add Derion Kendrick with their first pick in Round 3.

68. Houston Texans: Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma

Another addition to their front seven, Houston adds Perion Winfrey from Oklahoma.

69. New York Jets: Damone Clark, LB, LSU

LSU linebackers often find success in the NFL and the Jets hope that’s the case for Damone Clark who they roll the dice on at No. 69.

70. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Carolina Panthers): Brandon Joseph, S, Northwestern

Northwestern product Brandon Joseph is a well-rounded prospect that could prove to be well worth this selection.

71. Chicago Bears: Nik Bonitto, EDGE, Oklahoma

After trading Khalil Mack, the Bears bring in another pass rusher in Oklahoma’s Nik Bonitto.

72. Seattle Seahawks: Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State

Noah Fant will be a great addition but the Seahawks want to add depth, which is why they bring in Trey McBride.

73. Indianapolis Colts (via Washington Commanders): Myjai Sanders, EDGE, Cincinnati

Myjai Sanders surprised many when he showed up under 230-pounds at the combine. If he gets his weight under control, he could become a factor in the NFL.

74. Atlanta Falcons: Jalen Pitre, S, Baylor

Jalen Pitre has the makings of a long-time starting safety, making him a great pick here for Atlanta.

75. Denver Broncos: Josh Paschal, EDGE, Kentucky

Randy Gregory was a bit of a risky signing since he has never topped six sacks and has dealt with injuries as well. Bradley Chubb has also had his share of issues with health, so they protect themselves with the selection of Josh Paschal from Kentucky.

76. Baltimore Ravens: David Bell, WR, Purdue

Sammy Watkins is out, which means the Ravens need another wideout. David Bell had a rough combine but he’s still an all-around good player who can help from day one.

77. Minnesota Vikings: Zachary Carter, IDL, Florida

Danielle Hunter and Za’Darius Smith will be good on the edge for Minnesota, and now they add Zachary Carter as a 3-tech who can generate pressure from the interior.

78. Cleveland Browns: Sam Williams, EDGE, Ole Miss

If Jadeveon Clowney doesn’t come back, the Browns will need another starter. Sam Williams has a lot to work with and could pair with Chase Winovich to form a solid duo across from Myles Garrett.

79. Los Angeles Chargers: Darrian Beavers, LB, Cincinnati

More help on defense for the Chargers who add Darrian Beavers at 79.

80. Houston Texans (via New Orleans Saints): Jaquan Brisker, S, Penn State

Houston lost Justin Reid in free agency but Jaquan Brisker could be a solid replacement.
