Scouting Report. 10. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 3. player. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Oregon

3. Houston Texans: Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon

There’s a thought process out there that Kayvon Thibodeaux might not have the drive to be great. An early exit from the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine did little to quiet those whispers but he’s still an elite talent. As long as NFL teams believe he loves the game, he will go early.

In this mock, he lands with the Houston Texans who are in the process of rebuilding their entire team. Adding Thobideaux gives them a potentially elite pass rusher, something they have missed in recent seasons.

2022 NFL Mock Draft Trade: New Orleans Saints send Round 1 pick 16, Round 1 Pick 19, Round 2, Pick 49 to New York Jets for Pick No. 4

Pick Analysis. player. 15. 4. Scouting Report. QB. Pitt. Kenny Pickett

4. New Orleans Saints (via New York Jets): Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt

Our first trade in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft comes at No. 4 as the New Orleans Saints send their first three picks in this draft to the New York Jets to move up for Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett.

The goal here is to get ahead of the Carolina Panthers who have been high on Pickett and while the cost is high to move up, New Orleans has always shown they will make a move to land the guy they truly want.

Now, the only question will come down to whether or not Pickett starts as a rookie. He has the talent but New Orleans did just sign Jameis Winston to a two-year deal. That could be something to watch going forward.
