Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. USC. 13. player. WR. Drake London. 10

13. Houston Texans (via Cleveland Browns): Drake London, WR, USC

The first of three Round 1 picks the Houston Texans got from the Cleveland Browns comes due here and they go after a position Cleveland likely would have targeted at No. 13 — wide receiver.

Houston, who just extended Brandin Cooks, adds Drake London to the mix as they pick up a tall outside receiver who had a ton of production for the Trojans.

London put up over 1,000-yards in just eight games before suffering a broken ankle which ended his collegiate career. Even with the missed time, he’s a game-breaker with great height at 6-foot-4 and enough speed to get behind the defense.

Adding him to a receiving corps with Cooks is rather impressive. It will also allow them to see what Davis Mills can do with some great weapons.

Purdue. 14. player. 26. Scouting Report. George Karlaftis. Pick Analysis. EDGE

14. Baltimore Ravens: George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue

In free agency, the Baltimore Ravens tried to bring Za’Darius Smith back but it wasn’t meant to be. He decided to back out of a contract agreement and headed to Minnesota. Now, the Ravens find someone to replace him on the edge as they add George Karlaftis from Purdue.

One of the better power rushers in this class, Karlaftis will have to adapt to the stand-up role in Baltimore but he has the ability to do so. And with some solid coaching — which the Ravens have — he could develop into a real stud in the NFL.
