WR. Alabama. 15. 54. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Jameson Williams. player

15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins): Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

The Philadelphia Eagles originally had three picks in the opening round this season but that’s changed after making another move ahead of the draft. Their trade with New Orleans leaves them with No. 15 and No. 18 but they also have two Round 1 selections in 2023 thanks to the move.

Here, they use their first pick on Jameson Williams from Alabama as they pair him with DeVonta Smith. Doing so gives Jalen Hurts two star receivers, which will allow the team to accurately evaluate him before heading into a better quarterback class in 2023 with two picks to use for ammunition.

Trade: New Orleans Saints send Round 1 pick 16, Round 1 Pick 19, Round 2, Pick 49 to New York Jets for Pick No. 4

EDGE. Jermaine Johnson. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 30. Florida State. 16

16. New York Jets (via New Orleans Saints through Philadelphia Eagles through Indianapolis Colts): Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State

The Saints trade earlier with the Jets has New York on the clock once again — and they still have another one to play with in this round. It could be tempting to make more moves but the smart play for this franchise will be to load up on talent.

That leads to the selection of Jermaine Johnson from Florida State at No. 16. Johnson broke out in a big way in 2021 and that pushes him into the top-20 and it also gives the Jets a legit pass-rusher to play alongside Carl Lawson — assuming he’s fully healthy.
